Each one of those Kryptonite blasts is dangerous, Superman thought. But all three together could destroy me. I have to disable that weapon!

Suddenly Luthor was trapped inside the battle suit. He had no control over his creation. “The Mega Module must have changed the programming of my battle suit,” Luthor realized. “But how did it do that? The Module is supposed to be just a power source!”

Superman’s earlier warning rang in Luthor’s memory: The Mega Module is experimental. Unstable. Lex hated to admit it, but the Man of Steel had been right.

The robot battle suit now had a mind of its own. It rushed toward Superman as he placed the fighter jets down on a rooftop.
