“I’m so sorry you had to see that. I didn’t know Yasmine brought you there.”

Kia’s voice brought him out of his orgasmic bliss, but he soon realized he was better off in his dream state.

I sat in a corner of their bedroom as Kia waited for him to wake up. I honestly didn’t expect him to turn into such a submissive puddle of nothing while Alyssa had him. She had him wide open by the time he passed out, but before that happened, I wanted Kia to see what we’d done to him, the lesson we’d planned to teach him for such an egregious transgression as to commit several acts of adultery against her.

“There? What do you mean, baby?”

He finally looked around, noticing the familiar confines of their bedroom. Yasmine was nowhere to be found, or at least, she wasn’t in my field of vision. The confusion on his face confirmed that he had trouble reconciling whether or not the past few hours were a dream or not. The pain in his wrists and ankles became the all-too-real reminder that the events that occurred were not a figment of his imagination.

“It’s probably best that you don’t say much right now, Holt.” Her tone and body language caused the temperature to drop a few degrees. The victim had finally turned into the aggressor. “In fact, don’t call me baby anymore, while you’re at it, you sick sonofabitch.”

“Why are you so cold, Lori? What did I do to make you feel this way toward me?”

“Why do you think she’s so cold? And for your information, her name is Kia now.” Yasmine’s voice disturbed the intimacy of their bedroom as she walked in and took a seat next to Kia. “Haven’t you figured it out yet? Do you need an interpreter?”

He tried to lift his arm to slap the smug look off her face, ignoring the pain in his shoulder to gain some type of satisfaction, perhaps regain some measure of control, when the pain he felt from earlier in the evening returned. The sound of metal against the bedpost alerted him that he had been shackled once again.

“He’s not too bright, is he, Kia?” Yasmine turned to her to ask rhetorically.

“Well, I didn’t marry him for his intellect, baby,” Kia answered. She turned to Yasmine and kissed her softly across her lips. “He was a good fuck, until your experiment worked like a charm. Who knew turning into an ice queen would make him stray so easily?”

“You did this to me on purpose?”

Kia spat in my face. “You did this to yourself, you bastard! You cheated on me for years, thinking I was too stupid to notice. But I have news for you: I knew after the first few months. All I could hope for was that you didn’t embarrass me in public. Your stunts with Yasmine were the last straw.”

I watched the wheels turn in his head, trying to figure out where he went wrong. He honestly thought he was in control the entire time, and I stifled a chuckle as the reality of the situation finally settled in.
