Coldness kicks me out of my dream world, drowsy, my eyes can’t open, my body trembles, it’s so fucking cold, my hand searches for the cover, that are over me already.

I know what is not with me–Ruby.

I jump too fast out of the spot that I fall on the floor, I look around, I need to find her, before my panic grows, I smile, because I can smell her.

The wildflowers, the fresh coffee and this morning, cookies.

Memories of the past few hours awaken the hungry beast inside me, searching for my prey.

I walk downstairs, slowly into the kitchen, observing how her hips move to the sound of loud music, under an oversize t-shirt, her hair is wet, pulled up on a sexy bun, barefoot.

I bite my lip, my palm adjusts my arousal and I plan my approach, so I can eat her alive.

“Good morning, Sam,” she says in between mumbles as the song ends.

“Morning, angel,” I whisper walking closer.

“One or two shots?” she asks holding a mug on her hands.

“Two shots please.”

I stop right behind her, observing how she kneads some dough, how her body mould it and make it be a part of her.

“Is this for the birthday?” I ask, moving closer, resting my chin on her shoulder, my arms frame her.

Tell her is Scott’s

My mind reminds me, I shake it away and draw kisses on her shoulder.

“Nope,” she says, cheerfully, “they are for the stores. Señor Miguel will collect them this afternoon.”

“Should I be worry about Señor Miguel?” I ask, tickling her. I move up when she turn, kissing my cheek and placing a biscuit on my mouth, winking at the playful feeding me treatment.

The biscuit melts on my tongue, I haven’t taste anything this good in ages.

Her eyes light up as I moan taking another bite, “do you like it?” I nod and she smiles widely, “Rosita bought you a large box of them.”

“This is Spectacular,” I mumble, finishing the remain of it, sucking her fingers to clear away the chocolate that was there, and prove the point of how turn on I am.

I move closer, towering her, holding her up and hiding on her neck.

“You didn’t answer,” I remind her, not letting of a conversation that involves other man.

“He is like a father to me, an abuelo to the kids, Ruby Sweet Dreams wouldn't exist without his help,” she explains, rolling the dough, pushing me back with her perky bump and heading to the fridge, “he loans me the money to get the materials, I was scared how quick I could return that money, now feel ages ago.”

“It’s normal to be scared of success..”

“You don’t seem scared of anything.”

“I have learned to hide my emotions from the world.”

“Is that what you are doing with me?”

“No of course–” I pause, cut off by the ring of her mobile.

“Sorry, it’s Sarah,” she says, picking up, “Hey, yes, everything is ready, are you on the way?” she pauses, “walking by the park, perfect.”

I stand there, on tranks, my arms
