“You’ve been working,” Grace said when she noticed his dust-stained jeans and he nodded.

“The children are in the back. They are very excited to see you today, and they are anticipating your next story,” he said, making Grace laugh.

“Alright, I will be with them,” she said, then turned to Andrew and motioned for him to follow her. Grace took him to the back of the church and showed him the shed built to keep the donations given to the church.

When the children playing in a far corner spotted her, they all ran in her direction, and struggled each to get a hug. “What story do you want to hear today?” Grace asked, her voice flowing with her excitement, and they all chorused.
