6. Going back to Step 3, you also have the option to tap ‘Take Photo or Video’. If you select this, the Camera app is opened from where you can elect to take either a picture or a video. Having done so, you will see ‘Retake’ at the bottom-left of the picture or video and ‘Use Photo’ at the bottom-right. If you tap the latter, the picture/video is inserted into your message. Then tap Send. Note that you can insert any number of pictures or videos in a message

Sending Audio Clips

Pictures and videos are all well and good but there is yet another type of media that can be sent with the Messages app. This is audio and not only can it convey more information than the other types of media, it can also add a personal touch that words and images cannot.

1. Open the Messages app

2. Open a new message window

3. Press and hold the microphone icon at the right of the text field. You will now see the following:
