After watching Duri getting swept up in Eli’s wake, I gave the twosome a shake of the head and went back into my room.

The two of them would be dishing the tea forever. Knowing that they were talking about me and my prowess didn’t really bother me. We’d not really done all that much sexually. Some hot frottage wasn’t exactly a high bar to leap over. Next time I planned to spend way more time exploring Duri’s body, inch by tantalizing inch, until he pleaded for relief.

“Damn,” I huffed as my cock began to plump up. “Enough,” I told a certain appendage. “You’re what’s gotten me into this fucking mess.”

My cock had no remorse whatsoever. Ignoring the semi, I found my phone on the desk, grabbed it, and padded to the armoire. Staring at my selection of dress shirts, I rolled my neck, my sight lingering on the pale pink Yves St. Laurent long sleeve.

Pulling it from the hanger, I slid in one arm and then the other, tossing my cell from right to left. I’d need a tie too. Maybe the ribbed navy blue…

When I reached for the tie, I realized my phone was still in my hand.

“Okay, enough stalling.” I turned from the armoire where my clothes hung and hit Louise’s private number. She’d probably be at the office. I glanced at my watch. Doing a quick calculation in my head, I determined it would be around eleven p.m. in Tokyo. Or close to it. Time zones always confounded me. Hopefully, she would still be up. Louise tended to be a night owl, so the odds were good.

“Hello, handsome,” Louise panted instead of hello. “Can you hold for a second? I have sweat in my eye.”

“Did I interrupt something?”

“God, I wish. I was just working out.”

“At midnight?” I walked to the slider and opened the blinds. There was nothing too grand to see outside. A parking lot and a frosty patio. I’d not been happy about the ground-floor rooms. Far too easy for unwanted visitors to break in, but the hotel had been booked full, so there was no changing things. Seemed a few dozen drag queens had booked rooms—The Blue Lily was listed on several LGBTQ+ travel sites as a safe haven for traveling queers—so I just had to deal. Or not deal as the case may be since I’d spent most of the night curled up with Duri instead of providing protection to my client.

“What the hell else do I have to do before bed? The dating scene over here is like a fucking desert. Where are all the straight men?!” Louise demanded. I snorted. “Sure, laugh, you’re getting dick all over the place. Damn gays are taking over the world.”

“Poor thing.” I watched a rather rotund man in an ugly brown suit leaving the hotel, his rolling suitcase bumping along after him. The wind looked cold today. The salesman had his shoulders up around his ears. He looked like a salesman anyway. “Listen, I’ve run into a situation here in the States.
