If you stick with each of these different strategies while peeking in Fortnite, you shouldn’t have any trouble landing shots and avoiding damage effectively. That’s why it’s such a worthwhile tool for you to use, and why it’s something that you should be adding into every single match that you are involved in as well.

Firing at Maximum Accuracy

With some weapons in Fortnite you need to fire as rapidly as possible to have a chance at beating your opponent. With others it’s more important to wait until you are going to make the most accurate shots possible before you begin firing. For weapons like the burst assault rifle you should crouch down and wait a moment before firing off your first burst of rounds, because you’ll reach a higher level of accuracy and enjoy improved killing potential by just waiting a moment. This is best accomplished by setting up cover like a ramp or a wall and then peeking out from behind it each time that you want to fire off a round. As you use a weapon you’ll notice the crosshair circle growing smaller before you fire it. Firing the weapon will enlarge this crosshair, and so will moving around. If you take a moment to get the crosshair smaller, you’ll enjoy more accurate shots and more effective kills as well.
