“So, what do you think you’re going to do next about Markus?” Eric asked as he passed Veronica sea salt for the delicious homemade meal they were enjoying at Cecilia and Edward’s long oak dining room table. Veronica swallowed a bite of organic gluten-free fusilla bathed in a rich veggie pasta sauce, and promptly dug her fork into her plate for another bite.

She admired how Cecilia and Edward had decorated their home. It was filled with prayer flags and statues of great masters such as the Buddha and Jesus Christ, along with Mary Magdalene. The dining table alone could seat up to ten and had two long benches with colorful silk cushions and two single benches at the head and foot of the table. Out of the window, they could see the ocean stretch to the horizon, the sound of the waves hitting the beach gently, soothing them in the background.

Cecilia had outdone herself in putting the meal together for all of them, and Henry had brought the most delicious organic gluten-free sourdough bread along with Miyokos vegan butter. There was also the family-size organic salad they had made together with the veggies Veronica brought, along with Meghan’s homemade apple cider vinegar, honey mustard dressing. Eric and Edward had put together an organic fruit platter for dessert with organic dark chocolate and Veronica had PowerShake samples to share with everyone, too.

Veronica didn’t cook much at home because it was only her most of the time. When she and Margot had “meals” together–it had always been pizza or sushi or something to-go. Lately, Veronica had only been craving the Purium PowerShakes, and she had recently added steamed veggies with hummus, and fruit for dessert. It felt so nourishing on every level to share a meal and have it be organic whole foods. Veronica could imagine living her whole life like this, gathering with her Angelic family for meals that they created together at one another’s homes, each with their Holy Beloved, encouraging one another on the path of life on Earth–a path that was filled with many complexities and much joy.

Veronica considered Eric’s question about what to do next with Markus, pausing before responding as she absorbed all the beautiful imagery and wonder around her (while also savoring the pasta-salad bite she had just taken). “You know, typically I would wait. I would wait for him to reach out to me. I would wait for him to make a move, but that doesn’t feel right in this situation. I could easily have messaged him while I was waiting at Salt when we had agreed to meet. But I got so taken out by the negative programming, I went into straight victim mode. I got totally lost in my wound of not being chosen and nothing working out for me. That’s not my truth anymore. My truth is, I know that Markus and I have a special, sacred connection. I know he has free will to do whatever he wants to with
