Open an App by Tapping Its Icon

Return to the Watch Face and Launch Another App
From within the app, click the Digital Crown.
The watch face appears.
Click the Digital Crown again.
The Home screen appears.
Tap and drag to position the app you want to launch in the middle of the screen.
Turn the Digital Crown clockwise.
The app icons expand.
As you turn the Digital Crown further, the app in the center opens.
TIPS
Is there an advantage to using the Digital Crown to open an app?
There are two advantages. First, as you turn the Digital Crown clockwise, the app’s name appears; if you have picked the wrong app, you can turn the Digital Crown counterclockwise to return to the Home screen. Second, using the Digital Crown to open an app can be helpful if you find it hard to tap the app icons accurately.
What does double-clicking the Digital Crown do?
Double-clicking the Digital Crown from the watch face takes you back to the last app you were using. Double-clicking the Digital Crown from an app takes you back to the watch — the same effect as single-clicking the Digital Crown from an app.
