Ah, Friday night. A restful, relaxing night leading into the weekend after a long week of school. And I do mean a long week. The last three days have been hell for Chase and I. The bullying has intensified, and the kids have gotten crueler. Fun times at East Point Prep.

So, Friday night is meant to be a night full of movies, popcorn, soda and fun. You know, laughs, and jokes, and anything to take our minds off the bullshit we went through. But instead, the boys set up a planning session for the big heist we're going to pull off in two weeks.

And they're yelling. Yeah, lots and lots of yelling to fill my fun Friday night up. Woohoo. And judging by the bulging vein in Carter’s neck, we’re about to have a full-blown nuclear meltdown inside the Maze House, and he’s the damn missile.

“No, abso-fucking-lutely not!” Carter growls, standing up from the chair. “You can’t be fucking serious about this, West!” His venomous eyes stare holes through Zepp who stands his ground with folded arms. The bruising from his last mysterious fight with Carter still remains, even a few days later. They still refuse to let me in on the secrets of their oh-so-secret meeting.

“And what do you propose we do?” Zepp asks in a calm tone, but he’s anything but calm.

His jaw twitches and his teeth grind together when he steeples his fingers in front of his face. From here I see the chaos brewing in his eyes as he mentally calculates how to take Carter down. His lethal eyes zone in on Carter’s pacing form.

“Not fucking that!” Carter hisses, throwing his hands around. “You can’t seriously think we’re going to fucking let her walk into the god damn lion’s den with you as a distraction! There’s no way in fuck, he’s going to let you freely walk through his house and into Magnolia’s room. It’s a bullshit excuse and that fucking psycho won’t buy it!”

“What else are we going to fucking do?” Seger asks, leaning back into the couch with his arms above his head. “You have any other ideas, genius? Addison is ghosting Kace. We have no other choice.” He goads in a mocking tone, taking a long drink of his beer.

“Yeah, I have a hell of a lot more ideas, you fucking prick. And they don’t include sending her alone into his fucking house!” He growls marching toward Seger who waves a hand in his direction without care. He doesn't even flinch when Carter gets into his face, practically foaming at the mouth.

Zepp grunts, putting a hand into Carter's chest. He pulls him away by the collar of his shirt, and Carter lets him. “We have no other choice,” he says in his calm tone again, looking into Carter’s venom filled eyes.

“Of all the fucking idiots in this house,” Carter growls, curling his fingers into Zepp’s shirt. He pulls him into his chest until they’re nose to nose, cursing at each other with curled lips and dueling growls.
