Kazzi – Hazilian Coast Road, the Kingdom of Arthas

We left the city of Olain behind. Intrepid trotted down the road leading out of the Olain Hills and out to the coast. We were still a few days away. I was eager to reach it. All this traveling was boring. For the last eight days, us monster girls had plotted different ideas on how to deal with the siren if she hypnotized our Owner.

I just wanted to fight her. Protect Garin. My fires burned inside of me.

“Isn't there a way to test your idea?” Zakurima asked. Now that we were out of the city, we were out of the hood. Shrike wasn't flying, there were still humans about, but it seemed safe. I hated being in the hood.

“Nope,” Garin said. “But it's the only thing I can think of to protect myself.”

When we awoke a few hours before, Garin had announced he had an idea to ward himself, a way to use his magic that might defend him. “Some times the best defense is using the same power,” he'd said. “Like a forest fire can't burn over an area already scorched.”

“That's not good enough,” said Zakurima. She folded her arms before her chest.

“If Garin thinks it will work, then it will work,” Shiiza said. She was hugging Maple today, the lamia's head nestled between the dryad's large breasts.

Zakurima rolled her intense, blue eyes.

I giggled. “We'll be there to protect her.”

“This will work,” Garin said, not hearing my whispered words. “Keuroki will lure away the siren, then I'll seduce her. Love her.”

“We're just worried,” Zakurima said. “You know that, right? That we love you.”

“I'm not taking chances. I am almost certain this will work.”

“Almost?”

I hugged Zakurima from behind, my large breasts drinking in the wonderful, icy delight of her body. She was so wonderful to hold. To feel the contrast of her skin. “What if you cast the spell on us, too?” I suggested. “Then we can be there to help you.”

“That's a lot of spells I'll have to sustain,” Garin said. “I'll need mana. Sirens have those thunderous voices. This won't just be me avoiding her hypnotism. I can't maintain that many spells and have the energy to fight her.”

“Right,” I said. I wanted to be there with him.

“But...” I protested. “Please, my Owner, let me fight at your side. At least me. One more enchantment won't make a difference.”

Garin brought his hand to his shoulder. “Kazzi...”

I broke away from Zakurima and crawled across the wrinkled fabric of his robe. I reached his open palm and crawled into it. This small, he could easily cradle us all in his hand. He brought me up to before his face. His gray eyes stared at me, so large. His finger bent and stroked the top of my head.

My stubby tail twitched.

“I'm not losing,” he said, his voice a deep rumble. His face filled my entire world, looming before me. Confidence filled his expression.

I smiled and said, “I'm happy that you threw me into a well.
