Loafers patted the pile of dirt. Then he went back to napping.

Meanwhile, the moon was about to reach its highest point in the sky. Solomon Grundy headed back to the swamp to perform his evil spell.

For the spell to work, Grundy needed to stand over the swamp. He had to look at his reflection in the water with the moon behind him. Once Grundy said the magic words, within moments all the pets that had passed away would rise from their graves.

“The Undead Pet Club is about to welcome millions of new members!” Grundy said. He cackled into the night. “Rise, zombie pets! Rise!”
