The easiest way to let go of judgment is to accept that, like you, all people are on their own spiritual path. Worrying whether others are handling their lives the way we think they should is totally pointless. As Thoreau said so eloquently, we are all marching to the beat of a different drummer. People who are on the same spiritual path as you will do things as you do. Those who arenât, wonât. Period.
When we judge othersâ lives, we put pressure on ourselves to have some divine insight into all people to know whatâs best for them. Itâs a big enough task to learn whatâs best for ourselves and act on that knowledge. It is arrogant of us to presume we know whatâs best for anyone else. If youâre looking for a one-way ticket to lack of credibility, be judgmental. If you want to draw inspiring people to you and inspire others as well, create rules for your own life and live them with integrity. We all have our own rules for life. Weâve created them through our own life experiences. They are ours, but may not be anyone elseâs.
If you want to draw inspiring people to you and inspire others as well, create rules for your own life and live them with integrity.
Let go of judgment. The more you allow people to discover their own way through life, the more strength you will find to move swiftly and richly along your own journey.
Let go of judgment.
