EOPLE are very apt to find what they seek. In fact, there is a cosmic law that tends to make this happen. Of course, it does not always happen but such is the tendency.

You have certainly noticed that people who go about looking for trouble, practically always find it. The popular proverb, “Listeners never hear good of themselves,” is an example of this tendency. In metaphysics we know that the pessimist is defeated before he starts. We have all known people who loved to say that they never have any luck. When things seem to go against them, they will exclaim triumphantly, “Wouldn’t you know it?— that is what always happens to me!” And needless to say, their personal affairs constantly do go wrong.
