Tip: In Figure 8.123, the sketch 1 is created on the Top plane and the sketch 2 is created on the Front plane.

Procedure for Creating Curves by using the Sketch on Faces Method

1. Invoke the Curves flyout and then click on the Project Curve tool.

2. Click on the Sketch on faces radio button in the PropertyManager.

3. Click on the sketch to be projected.

4. Click on a face or faces of the model as the projection face/faces.

5. Select the Reverse projection check box to reverse the direction of projection, if needed.

6. Click on the green tick mark in the PropertyManager. The projected curve is created.
