Click on the Solid Bodies folder and select Show.

To create parting surfaces, click the Parting Surface button the Mold Tools CommandManager.

Now, you need to define the method to create the parting surface.

Select the Perpendicular to pull option. Notice that the parting line is selected, automatically.

Select the Smooth icon from the Parting Surface group.

Type-in 40 in the Distance box in the Parting Surface section.

In the Options section, check the Manual mode option. Notice the dotted handles on the parting surface.
