SLADE

Getting to my feet, I ignore the sniggers coming from the fuckers sitting with me.

“Let them in. For future reference, they are to be allowed in.” The prospect does as he is told and lets us in, then leaves.

My heart picks up speed at the thought of seeing Ida and Jase again. It has been too fucking long since I’ve been inside of them both.

“Brother is getting laid times two tonight,” Slide calls from across the room.

Both he and Rookie are smirking at me, the Rugged Reg line gone, as they drink beer and salute me.

“Fuckers.” I grin. “But damn straight,” I call back.

Ida and Jase step into the room, and I swear to fuck, all the oxygen is sucked out of my lungs.
