Special Purpose Biomedical Processor Unit

The goal of this unit is to create an integrated biomedical processor chip that is capable of performing signal acquisition and processing the collected data from the sensors targeting extremely low-power and adaptive techniques. The unit includes two main techniques. The first one (proposed in this book) is used to predict the occurrence of ventricular arrhythmia, while the second technique is employed to predict the occurrence of cardiac autonomic neuropathy (CAN) for diabetes. CAN in diabetes is called the silent killer, because most of the patients who suffer from it do not realize it.
