Precious one, God’s Word is either true or it is not true! It’s as simple as that!

I don’t mean to sound harsh, but when you look at all the unspeakable tragedies that people must endure, you either believe that God is in control or you don’t.

Oh, beloved, how you need to see this for yourself in the Bible. As you read through the Word of God, put a mark (I use a triangle) beside every reference to God that tells you something about Him or His ways, His power and control over nature, man, and nations. Then record in the margin of your Bible what you learn about God and His sovereignty. Proverbs 23:23 says, “Buy truth, and do not sell it. Get wisdom and instruction and understanding.”

Oh, beloved, thank Him for the power of His Word!
