Andi

What. The. Fuck?

After months of hating every single gargoyle I’ve come into contact with, all of a sudden, my body is reacting to one like a teenager.

Heat sweeps through me as Sol growls about eating. He means it too. The filthy suggestion that all the gargoyles in this castle would want to eat me should have me running as far and as fast as I can.

Instead, like the time I saw them fucking, I’m hot and bothered as well as my thighs being slick.

Yeah, okay, these three gargoyles are different, I have to admit it. Riv, despite being a fucking huge slab of granite, his protectiveness, his desire to get between me and trouble, is refreshing after my previous experiences. Oscurr is unbelievably cute, with his high cheekbones which have a scattering of what look like freckles, velvet skin and glowing gold eyes.

Sol is…sin personified. His mottled stone skin glitters in the light. Those blue eyes, set into the handsome face, are aquiline and noble. His words drip with promise of dirty nights in and a bed filled with warmth and pleasure.

What the hell am I thinking? Not only am I very pregnant, but I should be wanting nothing to do with gargoyles ever again.

Absolutely…well…

‘You need to be milked and mated.’

Esmerelda’s words echo around my head as my body heats further. It’s as if whatever I need to feel better about myself is just out of reach.

And if I could put my finger on it, all would be revealed.

But I’m a big pregnant lady, in a huge castle, surrounded by gargoyles. There’s no way there is anything here which would make me feel better, to get rid of the cloying nausea which haunts me, or the prickles of heat which keep me from sleeping.

I might have an undergraduate degree in biology, but when it comes to human reproduction, it turns out I was woefully under informed as to how pregnancy affects a woman. I hadn’t expected to have children any time soon. So, when I was dragged away to another dimension, it’s not like I could pop on Amazon and get a book about it.

I just had to endure the long months of snarling, laughing, poking, and abuse from Ulkaar and his cronies as I got bigger and slower. They made me hate myself.

But Sol, Riv, and Oscurr—the way they react to me—it’s as if I’m a precious gem.

I shake my head, sitting back farther in the huge enclosed chair and pulling a blanket over me, shivering despite the roaring fire.

“Little one.” The words rumble through me as well as hitting my ears.

Riv peers around the side of the chair, the most gorgeous furrow in his brow. His blue eyes are pale and concerned. I’m shivering hard now, the heat from earlier gone and in its place a bone chilling cold. I want to berate him for addressing me as little, but then, to him, I suppose I am.

He looks me over, and then a massive hand slides underneath me,
