I come to with a scream.

I thrash around the wooden table as I try to get free, my eyes snap open and I see many strange faces hovering over me. My arms and legs are being held down as some woman speaks to me but I can’t hear a word she is saying over my own screams.

“Royal.” The woman yells, a second later the man himself is standing at the top of my head, even upside down he looks fucking beautiful. “Make her stop. I can’t remove the bullet while she is moving.” The woman shouts again. He reaches out and grips my face in his hands and kneels down above me so he can whisper in my ear.

“Stop fucking screaming.” He growls.

“Fuck. You.” I grit out through clenched teeth as the woman prods around my wound, I arch off the table trying to get free.

“Royal.” The woman shouts as she applies pressure to my shoulder to hold me down.

“Fuck!” I scream so loud my ears ring as she digs some tweezer looking things into my wound, I open my mouth to cuss the bitch out but the words die in my throat the moment Royal presses his lips to mine momentarily shocking me.

I’m doing the Spiderman kiss.

Is the thought that swirls through my mind as he kisses me upside down, I get lost in the kiss as he pushes his tongue inside my mouth, I moan into his mouth lifting my head to try to deepen it. Royal’s distraction is forgotten the second the woman pulls the bullet out, I scream into his mouth and accidently bite down on his tongue when I try to quieten myself. He yanks his tongue free and glares down at me, his eyes are dark with anger.

“The fuck did you do that for?” He snarls, I ignore him as I turn my head to the side to see the woman who I now recognize as Clare Murdoch holding a bullet between her thumb and index finger, she smiles kindly at me.

“I’m sorry you had to feel all of that, I wasn’t exactly prepared for this so I had no pain killers or sedatives.” I nod my head unable to speak, I’ve realized I have no issues speaking to Royal but when it comes to anyone else I choke up. “I’m gonna clean your wound, will you be okay if I get the others to let you go?” frowning I lift my head and look around me to see, Rook, Anya and Carlina holding my legs. I turn to my other side and cringe at the sight of Royal’s mother, Kiara standing there holding my arm down.

She just saw me make out with her son!

“Let her go, she won’t move.” Royal answers for me as I continue to stare at his mother, she stares right back there is no judgment or loathing in her gaze just… Curiosity. They release their hold on me and step back, it’s not lost on me that Chanel, Havoc, Koby, Knight and Bishop aren’t here.
