If the user enters an incorrect password, the following is logged:

2018/04/10 09:20:42 [Info] 17 LogonUser() failed with error code 1326.

2018/04/10 09:20:42 [Info] 17 SetupHttpContextUser returning : False.

That is all from a troubleshooting standpoint. As you can see there is a lot of information being logged in at all times (assuming you did enable everything as explained here). That said, in most scenarios this is only done for troubleshooting purposes. Keep that in mind.
