We can also stop all processes related to a particular name using the killall command. Here is the basic syntax:$ killall [options] program_name

For instance, say you want to stop all processes related to Java. In that case, you would use this command:$ killall java

2.6.4 Viewing Memory

We can view unused and used memory and swap space using the free command. Just type this command:$ free
