In traditional oral history, the latter are usually the main focus. In your project, after the policy-decision has been made, you can still use any of the publishing and presentation options used by traditional oral history, from online dissemination to self-publishing, community exhibitions to publishing with an oral history press. Plan now which level of publication you may want, if any, weighing the time, effort and budget required against the gains. On a spectrum from minimum to maximum, your final product could, for instance, be any combination of the following:

just a four-page document presented to the policy decision-makers, summarizing relevant points with hard-hitting quotes from your interviews, and full transcripts available on request;

a short PDF or longer eBook published online;

a YouTube video, blog or website;

a community exhibition;

a collection deposited in an official public archive;

a self-published book; or

a book with an established oral history publisher.
