Summary

You already had a basic knowledge of event handling from Chapter 5, but this chapter utilized that knowledge and addressed some common problems and solving them with handling events. It also taught you how to handle the event queue. In due course, the chapter also familiarized you with the jQuery UI accordion, in addition to explaining form validation using jQuery from an event-handling perspective.

In the next chapter, we will address animation in jQuery and take up a number of different commonly used animation applications, such as the slider and light box.
