Winter: Not A Drop Remained

Tell you what—I’m possessed.

I swear I’ve never been this obsessed,

‘Cause making love with you feels so wrong,

But I can’t stop—

I’m not that strong.

Before the familiar knock sounded, Kurt knew Luc had come to fuck him. Bracing himself for the physical impact of Luc’s presence, he hesitated for a fraction of an instant before opening the door.

“Ding-dong.” Luc smirked. The glazed, hardened gaze he flaunted spoke of a rimy, sharp lust.

Kurt realized he was in for it tonight. Saying nothing, he stepped aside and gestured for Luc to enter.

“So, what’s your New Year’s resolution?” Luc stepped over the threshold. “To stop being such a disobedient sub?”

Kurt locked the door behind him. Luc unbuttoned his coat and purposefully turned away.

Teasing is second nature to him. No, not teasing. Taunting. Mocking. Humiliating. The phantom of his former indignance resurfaced.

“My resolution is to stop letting you fuck me.” He folded his arms across his chest in the closest imitation of defiance he could muster.

Luc faced him with a seductive smile. “You said that last month.”

Kurt scowled. “I mean it this month.”

Luc gave a dismissive wave. “Oh, you never mean it.”

Before he could react to the insult, Luc opened his coat to reveal naked, taut skin. Kurt was too aroused to stay angry.

“I mean it when you’re not around,” he responded uncertainly, as if asking a question.

Luc arched an eyebrow and rubbed a hand along his bare torso with distinctive self-admiration. “Aren’t you going to take my coat like the gentleman you’re always pretending to be?” He removed his boots and tossed them onto the rug near the front door. One by one, he was pushing Kurt’s buttons. Since they had first met, he had always known where to push, and how hard.

For the countless time, Kurt wondered why he let him.

“What’s the point, if you think I’m just pretending?”

Luc smirked. In one swift motion, he dropped the coat on the floor.

Coat . . . wet from the snow . . . on the floor . . . on the dry floor . . . on the just-waxed-today floor . . .

A small spark of outrage threatened to turn into a full-fledged conflagration, but Kurt managed to steer clear of incendiary thoughts. It’ll dry. As usual, Luc made him horny as fuck, which took automatic precedence over his anal-retentive tendencies.

“You can leave your clothes there, for all I care.”

“Such a romantic!” his obsession snorted, adjusting his erection.

Kurt hungrily eyed the action. No matter how many times they had played this game, the end result was the same. New Year’s Eve was no different from any other night. “I’m trying to be more like you—an unfeeling prick who’s only good for a fuck.”

“What’s with the attitude?”

“I’m following your lead.” Kurt gave an offhand wave in his direction. “It’s no big deal.”

Luc looked momentarily surprised. Kurt felt a savage triumph at having elicited an uncalculated reaction from him. Normally, the Dom’s icily confident demeanor did not defrost.

Maybe I’m finally getting to him. Something like hope bubbled within.
