When we finally reached our accommodations, I was tired as a human could be, but before I could reach my door, Aranzeiros stopped me, ensuring that I never made it to my room.

“Wait…it would honor me if instead of sleeping in separate rooms, I join you in your room or you join me in mine. Even if it is just to sleep. It pains me that I have not been able to hold you since the night we first made love,” he admitted before I shut my room door.

“Who would I be to turn down a king?” pushing him back into his room, shutting the door behind me.

Positioning him on the bed, I dressed down to nothing but my bra and panties, prompting him to slip out of his clothes with little effort. In a room full of darkness, he ran his hands along my hipbone and back as I ran my fingers through his luscious strands.

I breathed him in before leaning down to kiss him, a kiss we both now welcomed, as he whispered, “My light,” pulling me on top of him, ensuring neither of us was about to get any sleep.
