âSWING LADIES.â
âColby
Max showered at Toriâs house, and I changed into my black dress. It was one of my best dresses. It fit tightly and showed off all my curves. Max exited the shower in jeans and a white muscle shirt. The top button of her jeans was unbuttoned. Oh, yes, that was the look on Max that really turns me on.
âWOW, you look fantastic,â Max said as she wrapped me up in her arms.
âAre you sure you are okay, Max?â I asked.
âI am fine, Sadie. I promise. Letâs go party.â
The whole group changed their clothes from softball attire to party wear. The party was in full force by the time we went downstairs. The music was booming, and Colby was running the turntables. Any sign of his head hurting was long gone. Colby was out in full force. He made me smile all the time. Tori and Lacey were doing the rounds saying hello to everyone. Zena picked up the model Lorraine for the party and was curled up in a lounge chair by the pool. They were doing shots off each otherâs breast.
Max grabbed a beer and handed it to me.
Tori and Lacey soon joined them. Lacey had a tray of shots.
âWant a shot, guys?â Lacey asked while forcing the glass in my hand. Max refused, but I didnât want to be rude. I tossed back the shot swallowing the hot liquid.
âThatâs a little warm.â I started to cough.
âIt is a fireball.â Lacey just smiled.
âYour house is beautiful, Lacey. I love the pool area. It reminds me of the rainforest with all the live plants.â
âWe got a great deal. The previous owners needed to sell fast. Thank you,â Lacey replied.
Tori looked at Max. âAre you okay, Max? That was a hard hit.â
âIt is all good, Tori.â
Tori leaned over and whispered in Maxâs ear, âTime to let the family hear the news.â
Tori jumped onto the diving board of the pool and pulled Lacey up with her. Lacey handed the shot tray to me. Tori picked up the mic and motioned for Colby to kill the music.
âCan I have everyoneâs attention, please? Before everyone gets hammered, Lacey and I want to make an announcement. After ten years of love, fights, more love and then more fightsâ¦â
Laughter could be heard throughout the pool area.
âThis crazy woman has said yes. Lacey has agreed to marry me and start a new chapter of our lives together.â
Lacey held up her ring then leaned in and kissed Tori hard. The cheers filled the air as beer bottles clanged and everyone took a sip of their drink.
âMax has agreed to be my best person, and Zena has agreed to be Laceyâs best person.â
Again, everyone held their drinks up, and cheers erupted.
Max and Zena walked over to the newly engaged couple and hugged them. I watched them as I took another shot. Tilting the glass back, the second one went down smoother. The music fired back up filling the air with electricity. Max walked back over to me wrapping me in her arms.
