We advise to take a tour ticket to nearby Islands since they are conveniently organized and very inexpensive. They can be bought all over Phuket’s touristic Streets. You will receive pickup service with minibus from your Hotel in such a package.

Schedules for public Boat Services:

Ferry services connect from Rassada Port in Phuket Town to Ko Phi Phi and on to Krabi on the mainland twice a day, taking 90 minutes and costing 350/650 baht one-way/return, for each leg. It's usually a pleasant ride, but can be rather bumpy when it's windy.

There are also speedboats to Ko Racha (2 hours), the Similan Islands (about 3 hours) and other islands in the high season only.( Cost 2200-1900 ). Boats and yachts can be chartered all year around at Chalong Bay, the Boot Lagoon, the Yacht Haven and Royal Phuket Marina. One of charter companies which operate from Chalong Bay is SweetDreamers Phuket-Yacht-Charter offering private charter and island hopper to Ko Racha or Ko Phi Phi & from departing from Royal Phuket Marina is Simba Sea Trips, who offer small group trips and private charters aboard speedboats to Ko Phi Phi, Phang Nga Bay, & Krabi Province.
