A COUPLE MONTHS LATER

“What the actual fuck?” I hear my stepson bellow. I stand up from my chair at my desk, walk out of my office at the club, and start to head toward the racket. I slow when I hear the other voices.

“It’s not what it looks like,” Aria’s voice says, stopping me in my tracks.

“It looks like you’re fucking Decker and Derrick, Aria.” Darren’s voice is laced with venom.

“Decker he just-we just—” I hear Aria stammer. What a fucking whore. It wasn’t bad enough that my sister has been sleeping with my stepson, also known as her step-nephew, but now she’s sleeping with his friends too? I have to find a way to get rid of her from Darren’s life. She’s going to end up saddling him with a kid and ruin his life. Between her and Viviana, they’re trying to destroy everything Blaze and I have built. Now it seems like Aria is trying to take Darren down too.

“You will spread your legs for anyone with a dick. Have you no self-respect? Are you that addicted to sex that you’ll sleep with anyone?” Darren asks.

“You’re too busy sampling the women who work here to notice me,” Aria seethes out.

“You should do the world a favor and take that dildo and only fuck that from here on out, so you don’t spread your STDS around anymore,” Darren bites out. I still can’t believe he’s been sleeping with Aria. I know they have no blood relation, and they are practically the same age, but even still. I thought the boy had taste in women.

“If I have STDS, it’s because you gave them to me.”

“Only because I slept with you,” Darren bites out heatedly. “Get the fuck out of here before I throw you out. Don’t you have a boyfriend to get back to?”

“You can’t throw me out of here, my sister owns the place,” Aria counters

“I can because I’m the son of her husband. Bye now,” he says indifferently.

“You son of a bitch!” I hear a gunshot go off, immediately followed by another. I run toward the sound, my hand on my piece inside my jacket pocket. I get to the door. I see Aria with a gun in her hand. One guy is bleeding from a gunshot wound to the head, and I see my stepson with a gunshot wound to his chest, his eyes lifeless.

“Darren!” I scream, diving toward him. He’s gone. Just like that, my stepson was taken from me by my own sister. All because the little whore couldn’t keep her legs closed and got caught. I swear on all things unholy, that I will make her pay for this, even if it’s the last thing I ever do.

“What the hell is going on here?” Blaze’s voice bellows from behind me. I know that If I tell Blaze what happened, he’ll put a bullet in Aria’s head, and it will be justice served. But a bullet to the brain is way too good of a death for this cuntsicle I have to call a sister.
