“You’re fucking nuts. You’re all fucking nuts in this town!” I scratched out, panic lacing what could be heard of my voice as I crab-walked backwards in a hurry.

I hit a bale of hay behind me, loose straw covering me from above as they infiltrated every inch of my costume, embedding into my skin. I jerked from the burn of discomfort, twisting my neck to see I was cornered by the girl on one side.

Pulling the knife from inside of her leather boots, her chin jerked back up at me, an eerie smile stretching over her face.

Harkins zipped his pants, confidently walking toward me, boxing me in from the other side now that he’d confirmed I wasn’t the threat, now that he knew she wasn’t the one in danger. I’d just transferred to NPC, a favor pulled by my great aunt, who was retiring out of the Botany department this year. Faculty were supposed to work this event, but my great aunt no longer had the knees for this kind of bullshit.

I kindly offered to take her place.

The minute I saw Camila in line, I thought some strings of fate were being pulled in our direction, that I’d get a chance to make a move on a girl who was almost too beautiful to be real. Then, I saw her coming with our professor’s fingers in her cunt.

It was so fucking hot, and I couldn’t get the sight out of my mind. I thought I could use what I’d seen, what I knew, to manipulate them into a night we would all enjoy, a night we could all leave behind here.

Then, she killed some kid in a football jersey, and then another. Now, I’d realized fucking with this girl might have been the worst idea I’d ever had in my life.

“Are you done with him?” Harkins asked her, reaching down for my throat.

His teeth glimmered in the light, like a predator ready to howl at the moon. Fingers wrapped tightly around my neck, he applied even more pressure. I scratched out, but his strength was greater than mine. Colorful dots swam over my vision as my blood flow and oxygen were cut off, no thought of mercy to be found anywhere on his face.

“No, he had his fun. I think we should get to have ours now, don’t you?” she asked in a voice so innocent, it could only be a farce.

She split her hair down the middle with ease, skillfully twisting ropes of hair until two braids hung down to her waist. She squatted down in front of me, one knee on the ground as the other splayed out widely, purposefully displaying her messy, still dripping cunt to me. Harkins growled under his breath, squeezing harder and forcing my chin up so I no longer had access to that marvelous sight.

She smiled a wicked grin.

Licking the tip of her knife and twirling it on her tongue before she brought it down to graze the center of my chest, she pressed just hard enough to scratch the surface of my skin.
