The tests for H4B65B were so successful, now that we had figured out the memory component, that BigLabs’ management made their first formal public announcement about the coming drug. We were submitting our application to move to Phase III trials. Here, we must prove safety and efficacy for a larger population.

I expected neither to be a problem for H4B65, in any of its variations. The drug had had no side effects that we have been able to identify. The efficacy is simply unquestionable. It works as advertised.

The larger trials made sure certain subpopulations do not have adverse reactions. BigLabs has run these trials for years. We had the testing procedures down pat and did not expect there to be any problems.

My biggest near-term concern was more of the ‘should we even do it?’ variety. The presence of this drug has led decent, normal adult women to do things I never thought they would.
