CHAPTER SIXTEEN

ETHAN

When I’d had my first heat spike, Theo had been driving us to the pack house. I’d been desperate for relief but also unsure of my place in the pack and a little scared about it all. This spike though, I wasn’t going toward the guest room of their house. I was being driven back to my nest in our home. The other big difference was that, while Theo was still white-knuckling the steering wheel as he drove, cursing every car and stop light. I was blissed out with Shae’s mouth teasing me and making the drive bearable.

“Like that. Oh, fu—please let me come.”

Theo had snarled at us when we tried to undo our seatbelts, because, safety or something, but Shae was making a valiant effort despite the awkward angle and barely being able to get my dick out. Their hand squeezed my base as they sucked and licked at the head.

“Two more minutes.”

I could hear the strain in Theo’s voice and whined at his distress, which only made his jaw clench further. The car lurched slightly as he floored the pedal, clearly giving no more fucks about the speed limit. At that moment, Shae squeezed me tighter and moved their hand in time with the shallow bobs of their head. I’d tried not to push their head down, but I was so close.

My hand went to the back of their head anyway as my dick thickened and I started to cry out. Shae moved their hand from my shaft and swallowed me down until I felt the tight squeeze of their throat along my tip. They sat up and gently tucked me back into my pants leaning over to kiss me with the taste of myself still on their mouth. I moaned into their kiss and tried to climb in their lap after they’d freed me of the seat belt but their hand on my chest stopped me.

I whimpered as I looked at their face, knowing they wouldn’t reject me, but my hindbrain was so fully in control that it felt like a rejection.

“I’m not coming into your nest this time, baby.”

I whimpered again and, dammit, my vision started to blur with tears.

“I don’t think our Tough Guy will be able to resist biting you, Ethan. I want it to be just you two when it happens. You both deserve that.”

Fuck. Theo had bonded Jade. He could bond me now. My heart raced at the possibility that I would finally be part of the pack.

My door was wrenched open, and Theo bent inside, pressing me into the back of my seat and collaring my throat with his rough hand before he took my mouth in a scorching kiss.
