My body was burning up. I rushed from the car to the lake shore. I never should have dated Connor. I had thought he was safe and cute. I dived into the freezing lake, letting my heat pour out of my body. The water boiled around me as I swam out into the depths. I had almost lost control tonight. Connor had excited me so much I melted part of his dashboard. Had he kept pushing me, I might have exploded with my fires.

It was safe in the water. The lake could handle my heat. But what was I going to do about Connor? If he made me this hot...
