Chapter 10

Souls of Legerdamien Attack

Although Scoop and Wyler returned most of everyone’s energy, they were all still too weak to fly. The Solar Warriors walked cautiously through the dead planet as they breathed in the moist night air. Everything was gray and dreary as if the life was completely sucked out of it. They knew that nothing ever lived peacefully here.

“I wonder if King Zenshuo is going to destroy Earth,” Allucio said curiously as they moved along.

“Probably,” Dezmurose answered, “If they watched what happened to us, you better believe he will.”

“But we’re still alive,” Allucio responded.

“We know that, but he doesn’t,” Amiata jumped in.

“That is right,” master Renzfly answered with a smirk. “We are dead to everyone, including Queen Eaizah.”

“So, what is so good about that? We’re still stuck on this dead planet,” Menzuo said in a stern voice as he kicked a rock along the path.

“I understand that, but being dead to them, is what we need for those queens to think. If we can get off of this planet, we can battle them again and this time, we will not fail.” master Renzfly said confidently.

Menzuo quickly stopped walking, making everyone else stop as well. “But master Renzfly, those queens are way too powerful for me to defeat. I failed badly once.”

“I know you did, Menzuo, but I know you have learned from that battle, and will be much more prepared to face her the next time,” master Renzfly walked over to him. “Now, did you give up when you faced Hydrosion?”

“No,” Menzuo replied.

“Did you give up against Morbid?”

“No.”

“What’s different now? So what if she’s stronger than you. I know that if you have confidence in yourself, you and Solar will find her weakness and destroy her. Just remember, my Prince, no warrior can win every battle, and only great warriors can win the wars.”

Those words made Menzuo feel much more confident about himself. “You’re right, master Renzfly. Man, you always know exactly what to say.”

“Menzuo,” Nuncio jumped in, “You know that we are behind you wherever you go.”

“I know, and I appreciate that. I couldn’t ask for better friends,” Menzuo nodded and continued to walk again.

As they journeyed on, they noticed a cave ahead. “Let’s rest in there before we run into one of these evil ghosts on this planet,” Scoop said quickly. “I know that we don’t have enough energy to fight in any type of battle at this point.”

“You’re right,” Solar agreed. “It will feel good to get off of our feet for a while. Maybe we can figure something out while we rest,” they all headed up to the cave and quickly entered.

As the Solar Warriors rested, Menzuo, Allucio, and Dezmurose were all thinking about their parents as they were still in the ship that was resting on the moon. Allucio chuckled as he thought about their parents.

“What’s so funny?” Menzuo asked.

“Your parents,” Allucio answered as he was still chuckling. “I wonder what their reaction was when they woke up on the moon.”

Menzuo and Dezmurose thought about it and then they both started to laugh.
