Messaging Group Members

Speaking of sending messages, one powerful reason for joining many groups is that you can message people directly even if you are not a first-level connection, and without spending money on an InMail. So if there is someone you want to connect with, say, a second- or third-level connection, within the group, go to the top and look for the Members tab or the number of members in the group, which is a hyperlink.

Click on Members or the number of members, and you will be taken to the members page. Click on the Send message under the name of the person you want to reach, and a box will open up for you to send your message. If you join 50 groups with 1,000 prospects each, that’s 50,000 more people you can message and look for ways to do business together. Most groups have many more than 1,000 people . . . so your potential for reaching the right person is unlimited.
