I'd heard stories of formula being sold out at the supermarkets. This also made me anxious, so I borrowed some from my friend, just as a back-up. I had no idea if I would be able to get it if I needed it.

I then called my partner. He is a dairy farmer and was out on the farm, he had no idea of the prime minister’s latest announcement. Nothing much would change for him during lockdown, he was an essential worker. The next two days went by in a blur, of anxiousness, trying to stay calm for my two year old, staying at home, and wondering when this baby might make his entrance into the world.
