Get traffic info in real time

You can find out the traffic conditions for whatever map you’re viewing by choosing View ⇒ Show Traffic or clicking the Show drop-down menu lower-left on the map and choosing Show Traffic. When you do this, major roadways are color-coded to inform you of the current traffic speed, as shown in Figure 11-8.

FIGURE 11-8: See whether traffic is moving very slowly (red), kind of slowly (a kind of yellowish orange), or nice and fast (no yellowish orange or red).

Reverse this process to hide traffic.

Here’s the key to those colors:

Orange: 25 to 50 miles per hour

Red: Under 25 miles per hour
