Chapter Five

​Miguel takes my arm, and we mingle with our guests. The seductive harmony of the piano accompanied by conversation fills the air as I accept a glass of champagne from a server offering flutes on a silver tray. Eyeing the delicious spread of hors d’oeuvres laid out in the dining room, I fight the urge to gobble them up, suddenly ravenous for something other than sex. Scallops wrapped in bacon, caviar and crème fraiche tartlets, caramelized figs, raw oysters, and a decadent charcuterie board have me longing to derail Miguel who is eager to mingle.

​Approached by a group of Miguel’s attractive friends, I’m instantly drawn to the contagious, positive energy of the huskiest man in the group. A smile so wide his cheeks are constantly spread and plumped, his easy yet confident stance piques my sexual curiosities.

​“I’m Lucy,” I introduce, seeing as Miguel and I missed greeting tonight’s guests as we were in the throes of having hot sex. A formality I now realize I actually miss. Hanging off Miguel’s arm as we welcome people into our luxurious penthouse makes me feel like a bona fide couple.

​“Beau.” He grins, extending his hand and giving mine a hearty shake. An exchange of pleasantries turns into reciprocation of chemistry as our eyes connect and desire clings to my skin.

​Beau glances at the padlock around my neck and disappointed, shakes his head. “I was hoping to find you wearing a key,” he tells me, pointing to the same charm I’m wearing dangling from his red cord necklace.

​Before I get the chance to reply, Johan eases his way into our conversation “I’ve got a key!” he proudly proclaims, showing Beau his tiny gold charm.

​Joining in the fun, a sultry blonde wearing a pale pink strapless gown better suited for a formal ball lets Johan know, “I’ve got a lock too!”

​Anticipation hangs in the air as Johan decides whose lock he will attempt to pop first. On one hand, there’s Beau whose rugged masculinity has me fantasizing about the weight of his heavy build, pressing into my body, as he lies on top of me and fucks my needy pussy. ​Beau’s plump cheeks brighten the color of cotton candy as Johan closes the gap between himself and my new friend. Whispering something in Beau’s ear, Johan throws me a flirty wink before disappearing out onto the penthouse terrace. Swirling the single ice cube in his snifter, Beau finishes his drink and follows Johan outside. The sultry blonde shrugs and turns her attention back toward Miguel and his circle, leaving me to my own devices.
