The day seemed to be flying by. Even with getting some of the items off her checklist late last night, thanks to help from Jenna and Corey, there still seemed to be a million things to do. Alice tossed a couple of changes of clothes into an overnight bag for her stay at the hotel. Her wedding dress was in the back seat of the car. After the hockey game today, she'd move most of her wedding stuff into the locker room at the ice rink. That way, she could have her privacy without Scotty seeing her before the wedding.

Then again, she did sleep in some with Scotty after he came back to bed. She was relieved when he said that he made amends with his mom. Alice hated the tension their impromptu wedding put on his relationship with his mother. The weird thing was that Scotty was doing everything in his power to make sure everything went smoothly and that they had the perfect wedding despite the crazy deadlines. Yet, according to his mom, he wasn't doing enough to honor his and Alice’s relationship. Alice was the one who felt like she should be doing more. It's why when Scotty proposed that she join the bachelor party hockey game, she said she would, at least as a coach, but that didn’t stop Scotty from asking her to lace up too pretty much every day since they planned on having a game.

Alice was curious to see how the game would end up. Lager was probably going to give her shit all day since he was not on Scotty's team but on hers instead. But, at the same time, she thought that her odds were slightly better than Scotty's team despite the fact the two teams were probably pretty evenly stacked on paper. That’s what happens when you give two hockey nerds their choice of team members among their group of friends. That was until everyone got hung titties the night before. Half of Scotty's team were hungover, while her team should be in decent shape since they weren't drinking all night long.

Scotty walked into the en suite bathroom as she was filling her toiletry bag. He couldn't sneak up on her, thanks to the mirror. He came up behind her in his usual workout gear and hugged her around her waist, nuzzling her neck with his beard. "You don't need all that stuff, babe."

"Um, yeah, I do. I know you got Victoria to do my make-up for the wedding day, but I'm still going to need some of this stuff for tomorrow." Scotty hired Victoria, a make-up artist, for the wedding.

"Come on. It's time to head to the rink." Instead of pulling Alice away from her packing, Scotty pulled her towards him, placing a soft kiss on her lips. He leaned his forehead on hers and whispered, "I don't want you to leave after the game."

"I know. I don't want to be at a hotel without you either." Alice whispered.

"We could break that tradition.
