OLIVIA, JULIA, AND Mia just arrived at our condo with our friends, Since we had dinner together, the girls and I are in our bedroom, while Lucas is in his man cave with the guys. Lucas chose an excellent condo, which I adore.
Iâm sitting on our bed, and I see Mia is sitting next to us, quietly smiling.
We met Mia once when we went over to Noahâs apartment to hang out, and we realized that Mia was both eager and apprehensive to meet us. When Mia got to know us more, we became best friends, and we would go out to eat, watch movies, or go shopping. Noah was overjoyed that Mia will now have a best friend that she could hang out with.
Mia is the funniest person alive; she would always make us laugh so hard all the time. Iâm delighted Mia came into our lives, but I wasnât sure at first because of what occurred between me and Harper. I realize itâs been a long time since I mentioned Harper. But Iâm pleased Mia is now a part of our lives.
Mia gives me a troubled look, and I smile faintly while thinking about my conversation with Lucas, because Iâm not sure whether I want to have children with Lucas one day because of my anxiety and depression. âLucas brought up the topic of pregnancy.â I sigh heavily.
âReally?â Olivia raises her eyebrows in perplexity as she stares at me, she settles down on the rug since Mia and I are sitting on our bed and Julia and Olivia are sitting on the floor, I think they seem to want to sit on the floor.
âYeah, I mean... I want to have kids, but Iâm not sure I want to do it with him.â I sigh heavily. While looking at them, I anxiously bite my bottom lip.
âWell, does Lucas know how you feel?â Julia sighs heavily and raises her eyebrows in perplexity.
âHe was with me, and I told him how I felt and about my depression. He understood since he didnât want to put any pressure on me if I didnât want children right now.â I breathe deeply and gaze at them with a neutral expression; Mia nods in agreement, and I inquire, âHow did you handle Noahâs job relocation to Chicago?â
âHonestly, it would be incredibly difficult and challenging, but Iâm really thrilled for Noah because I love him so much, but Iâve noticed that he has been distancing himself from me for a while, Iâm not sure whatâs going on.â Mia acknowledges, sighing heavily and shaking her head.
âPerhaps you should talk to Noah about it and see whatâs going on, because you know weâre going to kick his ass if he does something wrong to you.â Olivia smirks slightly, and we both laugh softly.
âLiv is not wrong.â I laugh as I nod.
Mia grins gently, I notice Mia has a messy bun, she dresses comfortably, she always looks great, Iâm delighted sheâs my best friend.
âPerhaps we should take a vacation.â Olivia mutters faintly.
