Drug-drug • Risk of decreased effectiveness if combined with urine acidifying agents, methenamine • Risk of increased activity of TCAs and sympathomimetic agents and increased risk of CV events • Risk of toxic neurologic effects and potentially fatal malignant hyperpyrexia if combined with MAOIs; do not use for 14 days after stopping MAOI • Blocked effects if combined with chlorpromazine; do not use this combination (chlorpromazine may be used to treat amphetamine poisoning) • Decreased CNS stimulation if combined with haloperidol • Enhanced effects of meperidine, norepinephrine if combined with lisdexamfetamine • Risk of excessive CNS stimulation and fatal seizures if combined with propoxyphene overdose
