ZOEY:
âItâs GREAT to be a girl!â I shouted that today at recess when Gigi, Via, and I were going as fast as we could on the merry-go-round. Every day we try to see who can stay on the longest. It was ME today. Via gave up real quick, and Gigi went down next. We were laying on the ground, trying not to puke, when Via shouted, âGirls RULE. Boys DROOOOL!â Gigi said her mom doesnât let her say that because girls and boys are both important. That made Via mad. She asked Gigi, âAre you a girl hater?â Gigi said, âNo! But why do you think boys have to be stupid for girls to feel smart?â Then, they had a big conversation that didnât make a lot of sense to me. They both say girls and boys arenât different, but how can Via say that AND believe âGirls Rule. Boys Droolâ? SIGH! Iâm super confused.
