Shawn smiled nervously as Kiki approached her and Claire as they took a look at some of the pictures she’d just taken.

“Everything okay?” Shawn asked as she noticed Kiki’s slight frown.

“Yep, just had to check on something.”

Shawn studied her a minute and wanted to press further but thought better of it. She felt Claire tap her arm and it brought her back to what they’d been discussing.

“Um, Claire was wondering if you’d be down for a kind of… nude session?”

Kiki’s scarred eyebrows shot up and her mouth fell open slightly and Shawn instantly regretted even asking. Claire mercifully stepped in. “Your chemistry together is off the charts and you two just make for a very stunning couple together with your… tattoos and Shawn’s… not tattoos,” Claire said, jutting her hand out to Kiki’s heavily inked body and then to her unmarked one. “It would be tasteful, nothing showing that you don’t want, and it’ll just be me and Felice.”

Shawn looked back at Kiki, relieved her expression was just slightly wary rather than shocked now.

“No one else here but you and Felice? And we don’t have to show anything we aren’t comfortable with?”

Shawn watched as Kiki looked around at the crew, her lips forming a tight line before looking back at Claire.

Claire nodded. “Just some tasteful close-up shots of your bodies, in close proximity. As wonderful as all these shots are, I don’t feel like I have my cover shot yet.”

Kiki looked at Shawn with only one eyebrow elevated in question. Shawn shrugged. “I’m down if you are.”

Shawn smiled when Kiki nodded and shrugged as well.

“Excellent! You’ll find robes in your dressing rooms. Give us a few minutes so we can clear everyone out and get set up.”

Both women came out in their robes and Shawn saw Kiki’s unsure expression as she stuffed her hands into the robe pockets and pulled them out again. “Hey, we don’t have to do this. We can just tell Claire to pick from what she has.”

Shawn watched as Kiki’s jaw tightened slightly and then relaxed as her eyes took on a calmer expression. “I wrestle with half-naked women for a living. I think I can do it.” Her lips quirked into a crooked grin and Shawn regarded her for a moment before offering her own crooked grin.

“Alright, killer, let’s see what you got.”
