For the last hour, Hallon has been telling me about this new guy she has been seeing. Apparently, he's a CEO for some big shot company in Charleston.

“El, he's great when he's great but he's so hot and cold. One minute he's wanting to spend every waking moment with me, the next he's being all broody and distant. I have no clue what his deal is.” She says as we walk in to find a high-top table.

“Yikes girl. Maybe you should just talk to him or give him a dose of his own medicine.” She nods her head and looks around for our waitress. “But honestly I am the last one that needs to be giving relationship advice.”

Our waiter comes up and interrupts our conversation to bring us more drinks. Our drink of choice tonight is Tequila. I didn’t want to mix alcohol and I don’t believe that whole liquor before beer you’re in the clear shit. We took a few shots and have been drinking water in between. We also ordered nachos because we were starving.

As she picks up a chip, she asks “So how are you since the breakup?” Popping it in her mouth and chewing. I look down at my food and contemplate how to answer. Yes, we work together and I see her almost every day but she hasn’t asked me about it since a couple weeks after and I basically snapped at her because I was still distraught over it. So, she let me have my space.

“I am sorry we don’t have to talk about it right now.” She says because I still haven’t answered her.

“No, it’s okay. I'm over it now. I was actually deciding on whether or not I should tell you, but seeing as I can’t talk to Caleigh about this, I need someone to vent to.”

Her eyes get big and she sits up straight in her chair, “Oh it must be bad if you can’t tell her about it. You tell her everything. She is your best friend. Are you getting back together with him?”

I shake my head, “No I am not. This isn’t about him. It's about Caleigh.”

She looks at me confused so I continue, “So you know Nick cheated on me and I was a complete wreck for a month straight. Well, one night Caleigh dragged me out of bed and basically forced me to get out of the house. She dressed me up and we went to one of her clients' beach house for a party.” She is sipping on her drink looking at me intrigued. “We met a guy at the party. He let us smoke with him. One thing led to another and all three of us hooked up in one of the guest bedrooms.” Her mouth drops “Yeah, but that’s not all. Me and Caleigh ended up hooking up again… and again.”

Her eyes are huge and I wait for her to respond, “So, wait, are you and Caleigh a thing now?” She downs the rest of her drink.
