If a printer’s color profile is installed, choose it, as well as the specific paper being used for the Color Proofing /Proofing Profile. Again, select Relative Colorimetric as the Proofing Intent, and be sure Use Black Point Compensation is checked.

Under Global Options, both Enable Color Management and Embed ICC Profiles in RGB Images should also be checked.

As with Global Preferences, Apply Global (F6) to preserve your choices.

View

The View menu is where you enabled Explorer Windows and Tool Bars . While you’re free to leave any or all of the Explorer Windows open, you may find that other than the ubiquitous Process Console , only the History Explorer needs to be open most of the time. Also available are zoom and image window fitting features. Here, you can engage Full Screen and Full Desktop modes.
