In this study, we have used KPCA as baseline for ICA algorithm. After dimension reduction by KPCA, FastICA algorithm is used to extract ICs. The combination of KPCA + FastICA is referred as KICA. The test image and the recognized image from gallery set using KICA algorithm are shown in Fig. 2.8a and b.
