Unsurprisingly, given the reported use of communications facilities, e-mail and bulletin boards were the most used applications. Shared databases and group calendars and schedules were used to approximately the same extent as each other, followed by workflow applications, electronic meeting systems and electronic display tools. Desktop and real-time conferencing were used the least.
