The Planning Protocol Revisited
In the previous chapter on Data Meeting 4, we saw the usefulness of the Planning Protocol as the team created its Data Action Plan. Now, during implementation of that plan, that protocol will help the team again.
One of the benefits of having weekly PLC meetings during this four-week Implementation Period is that instructional approaches tried by the team that are not working in the classroom can be reviewed, revised, omitted, and replaced in real time. The team can use the rubric in the Planning Protocol as a guide to ensure high-quality revisions.
