Imagine a straight line, with focused energy flowing through its center. This energy leads to greatness. Above and below this straight line are limitations. However, also above the line, are all kinds of resentments. You must focus your energy to go through the middle of the line, towards greatness. This is the Channel of discipline.

Staying in this channel will keep you safe and in control, or in recovery mode. If you travel outside of the channel, you may face confrontations. Stay in recovery. Create support systems. Stay in that focused energy channel in the center, and you will achieve greatness. Limitation and resentment are old news.

Strive to build a strong career, family, and foundation in the channel of success, and brighten up the world with your higher state of mind. Provide wonderful leadership, and you will earn respect and love from those you serve well. Remember, if you succumb to drugs, bad diet, inconsistency, gambling, or any other destructive behaviors, the only way back is to maintain respect for yourself and to maintain consistent leadership, with your mind in a higher state.

Structure is so important. You must keep this in mind in order to keep “X” out of your life. Practicing a twelve-step program and using self-restraint will help you recover from anything self-destructive. I also found that getting into the core structure, or the center of you, is the key. If that process is ignored, or you try to do without the structure, you may start acting out: spending money, gambling, using drugs, drinking, becoming verbally or physically abusive. Depression and withdrawal may also rear their ugly heads once again.
